Basics Of Electronics Tutorial

In this post, I would like to share a set of tutorials covering the basics of electronics in brief using few animations appropriately.

These tutorials which are contained in three DOS executable files covers the following subjects:

Tutorial-1 (Basic Elex 1.exe):
        Semiconductors,
        Diodes,
        Bipolar Transistors(BJTs),
        BJT basics,
        Integrated Circuits,
        Field Effect Transistors (FETs),
        FET basics,
        Power Amplifiers&
        Powe Supplies.

Tutorial-2 (Basic Elex 2.exe):
        Operational Amplifiers,
        Op-Amp applications,
        Harmonic Oscillators,
        Relaxation Oscillators,
        Boolean logic and logic gates,
        Flip flops,
        Binary adders,
        Encoders and Decoders &
        Registers.

Tutorial-3 (Basic Elex 3.exe):
        A short history of computers,
        Hardware,
        Introduction to microprocessors,
        ALU,
        Memory,
        Interfacing,
        Intel Microprocessors &
        Software.

These tutorials would be very useful for people interested to begin learning electronics or to have an overview of the above mentioned subjects. This would also be helpful for the instructors / lecturers to present in a classroom.

NOTE: These files are Microsoft DOS executables. As far as I know, only the Windows operating systems upto Windows-XP can run these files. Which means that these files may not run on Windows Vista, Windows 7 and future versions of Windows. I hope GNU/Linux users can run these files using WINE(Windows compatibility layer).
